HI Circle can be easily accessed via TransJakarta bus, the
most well-known public transportation in Jakarta. The route you choose is Blok
M-Kota route. Then you can stop in Bundaran HI or Tosari ICBC bus stop.
Besides its well-known name, the traffic jam in this area is
very bad, especially in the morning when people go to work and in the evening
when people go back from work. Not only traffic jam, in rainy season HI Circle
is sometimes terribly flooded. January 18, 2013, the terrible flood hit Jakarta. The height of water flooded HI Circle area was as high as knees. That
day, many people could’t come to work and TransJakarta bus stopped their operation for Blok M-Kota route.
Also, some employees in UOB Plaza are dead because the flood came like little
tsunami in UOB Plaza basement.
